Heritage Trail

Stratford's Heritage Trail is a year-round outdoor trail system for non-motorized recreation.  Popular among local hikers, bikers, snow-shoers and cross-country skiers, Heritage Trail provides an excellent outdoor venue for residents and visitors to view and enjoy the nature of the Central Wisconsin region.  

Utilizing the 73-acre conservancy area south of the Village's Business & Industrial Park and the Stratford School's athletic facility to the northwest, trail users experience a variety of terrains and natural habitats.  

The trail is handicap accessible, surfaced in crushed rock with ADA-compliant boardwalks in the wetland areas.
