Arbor Day 2017
On April 26, 2017, Stratford celebrated it's second annual Arbor Day! Several trees were planted in the village to celebrate the occasion - 1 Profusion Crabapple & 2 Spring Snow Crabapple were planted on the Main Street Boulevard and 1 Kentucky Coffeetree & 1 Sunburst Honey Locust were planted at Klemme Reserve.
Stratford was also formally awarded Tree City USA status for the first time. Don Kissinger, from the Department of Natural Resources, gave a brief presentation on the program. Several high school students, including FFA members, members of our Tree Advisory Board and a few village employees were in attendance.
